Describe your blog in one sentence.
Adventurous and a little bit crazy.
From young children our families have always been active, lots of walking, picnics in the countryside, lots of sports etc. This love continued developing as we grew up. We met when we were both horse riding instructors in Hyde Park in London, and both loved our active outdoor job.
If you could see the sunset from one place in the world where would you go and why?
Having spent the last week watching the sunset on Jumeirah beach, I have to say this is probably somewhere I would like to go back to and watch it again – it was just magical!
What is your favourite meal to eat after a day spent outside?
Something comforting, a roast dinner maybe, after a day outside we tend to be incredibly hungry and warm comfort food tends to hit the spot.
What has been your biggest outdoors adventure to date?
Without a doubt Kilimanjaro was the biggest adventure. Until then I (Helen) hadn’t even ever camped before, so it was not only a challenge but a true adventure and experience. We are aiming to complete all 7 major summits and Kilimajaro was our first; it definitely gave us some pointers as to what to work on for future summits. Even just shopping to ensure we had the correct kit for the climb was an adventure.

Helen is currently studying a Diploma in Professional Marketing – when I am not training, walking or working!
